Hollie, the eldest Sister, who has given up her dreams to look after her younger Sister Scarlett is the main focus at the start of the book. She cannot have children and this is all she lives for. I really warmed to Hollie and looked forward to her parts of the book. It is written in the style of Jodi Picolout where we have a chapter following one character at a time.
Scarlett was the out of control teen who now works in Brazil following her Mum's footsteps. It took me a while to warm to her as she is very headstrong and I couldn't seem to understand sometimes where she was coming from at times until her character evolves.
The story is all about how far we would go for our loved ones. Hollie needs a child and decides that Scarlett is the one and only person to help her. But how far can she take it?
This is a very emotional book and certainly takes you to places that you wouldn't wish to go to but you can understand Hollie's motives although at times you do shout at her that she needs to take a step back.
The book is well written and is an easy read especially if you are on holiday.
